On April 24th, around twenty experts from various sectors took part in a workshop organized by Sisteplant, a leading company in implementing MES (Management Execution Systems) and models of operational excellence. This was held in the unique setting of Torre Iberdrola.
Those taking part in this meeting thought that production centres needed to implement ICT solutions for the control and management of production, as this allows for the complete tracking of the entire manufacturing process. In this way, information is available to help make decisions quickly and effectively.
The experts taking part in this workshop, led by Alfonso Ganzabal, the manager of Sisteplant, talked about their different experiences in their respective production centres and discovered first hand the benefits of implementing an MES system.
Sisteplant is a Spanish industrial engineering services company, consisting of more than 120 professionals, with offices in Barcelona, Bilbao, Madrid, Seville, Brazil, China and Mexico. Its main activity is the optimization of production, logistics and management processes in the industry.
